Many Wings members no doubt visited the 53rd Annual Model Railway show at Thornbury, that took place from Friday 28/4/23 to Sunday 30/4/23. The show was very busy and as usual was crammed with excellent model railways that mainly covered OO N and O gauge operational layouts to name a few! All layouts were awesome to watch in action. Some of our favourites were Copenhagen Fields, a massive 2mm gauge, showing the approaches to LNER Kings Cross, as a "perspective fine scale layout", an American HO Mill, and, what took us by surprise was, the O gauge/Broad Gauge Society's Parlour Layout, built on an old Billiard table with a lot of scratch built fine scale locomotives. What a brilliant show!! many thanks to the hard work of the organiser's volunteers and exhibitors Cheers from our Society.
