This Pathfinder tours excursion started by picking up from Burton 0n Trent, and stations through Birmingham to Bristol Parkway. The train then travelled along the Great Western Mainline to Reading before heading south to its first destination of Winchester, then Southampton and finally Salisbury. Being hauled throughout by Class 40 No. 40145 (D345), courtesy of the Class 40 Preservation Society, with a West Coast Railways Class 47848 on the rear of the train to provide heating etc. Here are a few pictures of the tour near and at our local station.
