Thornbury & South Gloucestershire Model Railway Club 2022 Exhibition took place over the weekend of 19th & 20th November 2022. This year the exhibition was held at the new venue of Turnberrie's Community Centre, Thornbury, Bristol. Wings Team Rich and Dave plus many other members visited the show over the weekend. And as you can see from our photo gallery what a show it was. The show consisted of sales stands, Heritage Railway stands and approximately 20 Small to very Large Layouts ranging from N Gauge all the way through to 7mm (0 Gauge). One layout showed amazing total Innovation, as it was constructed in the back of half a car modified to work as a moveable trailer! Yes, that's correct folks, it was built by Lisa Hill, David, and George Fish. This took 5 months to complete from cutting up an old car, after chatting to them they have plans to DCC the layout and introduce Solar panels on the roof, with other modifications to come. The Train Trailer layout can run off a car battery and/or mains at present. Enjoy the pics
