Some of our members visited this Mega Gala between the Thursday and Sunday, this gallery is a mix of pictures taken on those days. The Gala was a preservation first... All engines running smoke box first! The Saturday was a commemorative day to acknowledge the 50 years since the last Pines Express ran over S & D metals. As well as the visiting engines there were also personal appearances from David Shepard and S & D footplate men Peter Smith and Aubrey Punter, Ivo Petors Bentley was also on display. What a great event! Enjoy the pictures.
