Winchcombe Railway Museum.

Another summer visit to the delightful Cotswold town of Winchcombe, where a small jewel in the crown of Railway preservation can be found. This small museum (not related to the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway) was once a house, with a private collection of Rail Memorabilia in its grounds. Now open to the public, this fine collection of signs and signals is run by a small trust. Members of the trust continually re-paint signs and other memorabilia. This museum is well worth spending a pleasant hour or two wandering around the past.
