Wings member Bill visited this year's very special 50th Anniversary Alan Keef Ltd Open Day. With record attendance and the most perfect September sunshine, the organisers couldn't have wished for a better day. As well as seeing the replica 'Falcon', that is being built for the Corris Railway, in steam and running on a short test track, we also showed off Taffy for the first time in 12 years and were delighted to showcase the two newly restored Dalmunzie carriages. The Works was Founded by Alan Keef and now celebrating there 50th anniversary in 2022, they are based in rural Herefordshire and remain a family-owned and run enterprise with a great personal, as well as professional, passion for narrow gauge railways. Today, the business is run by Patrick Keef as Managing Director and Alan's daughter, Alice Basey, as Financial Director and General Manager.
